L’oreal Age Perfect Radiant Satin Blush 425 Amber (swatch)

L'oreal Age Perfect Radiant Satin Blush 425 Amber Swatch

I’m pretty sure that this was my first experience with a blush by L’oreal and I am not disappointed.  I feel like they did a great job with the level of pigmentation.  You can go into the pan with any brush shape without being careful, but it still picks up enough color to show up.  In my experience, this blush works great with both synthetic and natural hair brushes.  The formula is easy to blend on the skin and despite the inclusion of emollient ingredients (i.e. coconut oil, mango seed butter), it behaves like a traditional powder formula.

This shade does have more shimmer to it than I expected.  It gives off a gold sheen on my skin, but there are no large particles in it.  It does accentuate some texture if I look up close, but from a normal distance, it looks great.  There are a total of 6 shades in this range and while that doesn’t sound like a lot, I think the shades they chose will give most people at least one option they’ll be able to wear daily.
